I am an artist located in Shreveport, Louisiana, where I have a variety of original paintings— small and large painted canvases, painted guitars, and original handpainted decor available. I also offer posters, t-shirts, and other items imprinted with images of selected paintings and original art at this site and at my two linked Etsy specialty shops. Reproductions of a number of paintings that have been sold can still be bought on tshirts, mugs, or as prints. I am always accepting commissions for custom painting and will create art on everything from canvas to walls and more! I have shown at Shreveport area art galleries in group art shows, and appear regularly at many local and regional art markets. Promoted to Art: Painted Guitars
I painted my first guitar a decade ago and I was hooked. I was thrilled to have one of my painted guitars featured in The Decorative Painter magazine! Music has always been a part of my life just as art has, and the creative symbiosis of merging aspects of these two together is always original and fun.
Decorative painting was what sparked it all. I started out following other people’s patterns, but evolved to creating my own designs and just really enjoy freehanding my paintings onto different surfaces. Having something decorative or even functional made unique and beautiful is a great feeling. I hope you can find something that will be a perfect fit for YOUR home or gift giving!
About my art
I paint in acrylics, watercolors and oils. I paint everything from murals to jewelry! have always been driven to create something. Whether it was painting, sculpture, leathercraft, gardening, crochet… I had to learn how to make something new, or make something beautiful that wasn’t before. I constantly look for new skills and techniques to expand my abilities because there is always that look or that feeling I want to capture but haven’t yet. Whether anyone likes what I do or not, I have to touch that creative process somehow on a daily basis or I myself stop growing.
